May 2014: Amazing Things Happen To Those Who Get Their Hands Dirty – Kay Just Killed It! £450 A Day Business Analyst Role

Punter-Southall1Sir Keji!

Finally got the good news we were waiting for!!!
As you can see from the email attached below, I have just secured a 12 month contract with Punter Southall (UK’s largest actuarial, pensions administration, investment and financial advisory organisation). After some negotiation they finally agreed on the salary of £450 per day!
Firstly, as is mandatory standard procedure, all Glory to God the most high! Without his grace, love and favor we would be nothing:
“Therefore I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises to your name.”
2 Samuel 22:50.
Secondly, many thanks to you Keji and Ayo Nunu for all the opportunity and guidance you gave me through DBT. I have learnt a great deal from you both, which gave me the solid platform to go away and further enhance my Business Analyst skills by joining DBT projects, (in particular the extremely successful Pacific Rim project which I was the BA Lead), and personal studying.
I apologise that I couldn’t contribute much to the Program Office, having been appointed as the deputy senior BA Lead. This was due to the high demands of my current IT job (which I will now be leaving), my preparations for interviews, tests, etc, etc.
However, as a token my gratitude sir, expect some expensive fine wine through the post!
I would also like to shout out to all the people on my CI – Pacific Rim project who were good friends as well as DBT colleagues, in particular Tunde Farakan, Asuquo Obot, Abimbola Odusola, Olaitan Inekuku, Abi Akisanya, Abayomi Odejide, Tayo Richards and Kehinde Amore. It was a wonderful collaboration of great minds that ensured we all enjoyed a pleasant and successful project experience.
Lastly Keji, may you continue to be successful in all you do, blessing others with knowledge and opportunity as you have been blessed
Thumbs up to you and DBT!
As Adore would say: “See you at the top!”.
Well I guess I’m there now, so see you shortly!
Kay Akinwande.
Now let’s check out what Kayode was up to at Digital Bananas Technology. We are truly inspired by his commitment and dedication over the last 12 weeks but more importantly, his contribution to taking a great deal of projects from conception to execution.
