The index is a listing of the top brands on social media, measured every month across certain social signals.
Brands need to be manually researched and added to the system, but Fuseware already has a listing of about 500 brands with their associated social profiles.
Brand Index Algorithm
The algorithm scans key social media metrics across Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram for each network. Each metric is ranked across all brands into a linear score from 0 to 100. Each of the 4 main scores (growth, content, response, sentiment) are combined according to their weighting into a single final score for the month.
Each month the scores are updated, and tracked as they change over time.
The metrics for analysis include a weighted distribution of key metric groupings across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube. These factors include:Community Reach
