March 2015: Ojonugwa Secures A Clinical Analyst Role With Guy's And St Thomas Hospital

guys-logoHi Ibie,

Please find below my success story which contains the info you requested:

I am a doctor who joined CI on the 15th of December 2014. People were surprised to see a doctor training in Project Management/Business Analysis, but I wanted to expand my options as a doctor before proceeding to specialise in this country.

My training ended right before Christmas after which I plunged right in with opportunities to get my hands dirty with live projects. I was given a role as Deputy Issue Report Lead and then as the Deputy BA Business Lead in EH – HMC2 project. Following that I was appointed Business BA Lead in CI – Referral System 2 and Lead Planner in Transcend Tracker projects. Both projects are still ongoing at this time.

As I continued with my training I determined to look for a job as a Clinical Analyst which is basically a BA job which requires a background of clinical knowledge. I was recently interviewed and offered a position as a Clinical Analyst with Guys and St. Thomas NHS Trust Hospitals.

When asked about the technical details of my work as a BA, I am happy that I was able to reel off the processes and deliverables since I have been so active on the projects even though they have not been completed yet. The Project Manager told the recruiter that she really liked me and wanted me on the team.

Thanks so much for your dedication to helping us realise our goals.

Ojonugwa Adah
