Jide just secured his fourth contract role since completing his eWorkexperience with Digital Bananas Technology. Here is his best advice for new candidates like yourself.
Thanks for the references you have been giving to me for my contract roles for some time now. I can’t over-emphasize the wonderful job that you and the entire DBT management are doing. It’ s amazing! This is my fourth contract in about 2 years, excluding my initial perm role and a good number of job offers that I have turned down (about 3 this year). I really do appreciate the work you are doing Keji, as well as Adore, Caroline and the entire Programme Office crew, including my Programme manager, Femi Adedoyin. However, I’d like to take this opportunity to advise our new candidates not to make the mistake of being in a hurry to apply for roles. Believe me, it is only a matter of time before you are found out, and you may end up bringing your name as well as DBT’s name into disrepute. It is only hard, relentless effort that really pays friends, and this obviously requires time and great effort from you and there are no short-cuts unfortunately (no pain no gain). You have to know your onions, as the competition is getting stiffer by the day. Please let’s get our hands as dirty as can be, as this is the when you can truly reap rewards friends. Keep up the good work guys!Kind Regards,,Jide Arowolo
